Housestaff Research

Internal Medicine housestaff are actively involved in performing research and preparing abstracts.

All housestaff on a research block at MCV Hospitals or the McGuire VA are required to submit a brief synopsis of their research activity to be posted on page. For those of you are searching for a research opportunity, please check out the posting of research opportunies.

Aside from the American College of Physicians competition and the Society for General Internal Medicine, there are many opportunities to submit and present oral and poster abstracts locally, including the VCU Medical Center Annual Resident Research Day. Current abstract deadlines are available in the Call for Abstracts section.
