VA Secure Flash Drives (to housestaff resources)

We have finally gotten the Kanguru Flash drive approved and functional at both MCVH and the VAMC. The only way to obtain one of these flash drives to fill out the following three forms:

1. Request for USB Flash Drive (MSWord doc)
2. Justification for Encrypted Thumb Drive Use by a Physician Trainee (pdf)
3. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Rules of Behavior (pdf)

Return all three completed forms to Dr. Fulco or Dr. Dessypris. Once they have signed off on the form, it will be sent to the information security office to process. The turnaround time for this is variable, but shouldn't be more than a few weeks. You can contact Brooks Bosher at the IS office at 675-5000 xt 6636 to get a status update. His office is located on the 3rd floor at the VA, Room 3A-103.
