VCU Internal Medicine Training Program
Honduras Medical Relief

In July of 2006 several VCU internal medicine residents, working with other health care professionals from both VCU and across the country, participated in medical relief in and around the city of Siguatepeque, in the mountains of central Honduras. Patients were seen at makeshift clinics set up at local schools, with over 5,000 patients being seen across eleven separate clinic days.
